Pulp and Paper
Calcium Chloride is used in the paper making process in order to improve printability.
CC tech® can for example be added to the starch used as a coating agent in paper. Calcium Chloride will improve the electrical conductivity and hence static electricity properties of the surface layer in the paper. This will give less “feathering” and enables higher machine speeds which are beneficial for a high productivity. The look of high quality color prints is also improved.
